Pacific Overtures New Broadway Recording
This has awful acting.
Why doesn’t Grooveshark have the OBC.
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

I love this song. But I just wondered: would this be more effective if they didn’t harmonise on ‘move on’? I know George is realising what he has to do. But she’s still singing a second verse. Like, she’s reiterating the point of what he needs to do: which she wouldn’t have to do, if he’d already realised it.
So I think a silent George here (being, throughout the song, on the very brink of understanding) would be more compelling than a vocal one (throughout the song in understanding). I don’t think the Move On message is ever that easy to absorb.
BRB in three hours - someone just put a recording of an entire performance of the original Broadway cast of Merrily We Roll Along on YouTube.
I just jizzed like everywhere. Then THIS turns up?! Double pleasure!
i was babysitting a little boy and girl once and the boy asked me if i had a boyfriend and i said “no!! but i have a girlfriend!” and he said “like a friend thats a girl?” and i said “no like a boyfriend but they’re a girl instead of a boy! we still do couple things but we’re just both girls” and he said, without missing a beat, “oh ok! are you gonna marry her?”
like it’s literally that easy for kids to understand

Wow, why the hell had I never thought of this? It makes a distant sort of absolute sense.
